ABOUT CHATHAM ARCH
Chatham Arch, one of Indianapolis's most historic and vibrant neighborhoods, offers a unique blend of old-world charm and modern living. Named after Chatham Street, this area has a rich history dating back to the mid-19th century, when it was home to a diverse community of business leaders, skilled artisans, and tradespeople.
The neighborhood features a stunning mix of architectural styles, including Victorian and Italianate homes, alongside contemporary townhouses. Many of these buildings have been lovingly restored, preserving their historical significance while accommodating modern amenities.
In the 1970s, Chatham Arch began a revitalization process, earning recognition as a historic district. Its proximity to downtown Indianapolis makes it an ideal location for those looking to enjoy the city's vibrant cultural and social scene. The neighborhood is just a short walk from Mass Ave, known for its eclectic shops, diverse dining options, and cultural attractions.
Residents of Chatham Arch enjoy easy access to the Bottleworks District, a major landmark featuring boutique shopping, unique eateries, and entertainment venues like The Garage Food Hall. This blend of historic elegance and contemporary convenience makes Chatham Arch a sought-after destination for those seeking the best of Indianapolis living.
